On March 2, 2014, the Capital City Brewer’s Battle was fought on the grounds of Capitol Beer and Taproom. Ten homebrew club teams from around the Sacramento region brewed against each other, and Greenbelt Brewer’s Association emerged as the victor.
Now, come taste the spoils of war as the GBA all-star brewing team of Darrell Amerine, Phil Csik, and Sean O’Brien releases a firkin of their Blackbeard IPA, brewed with head brewer ‘Zambo’ at 21st Amendment Brewery, this coming Saturday, January 17th beginning at 11:15 am at Capitol Beer and Taproom.
If you can’t get there this weekend, a keg of their tasty beverage will go on tap on Saturday, March 1st at the Third Annual Capitol City Brewer’s Battle.
